Punched in the Face. Thanks, Week Seven & Eight of 26.2

The last week has been a killer one for working out. It literally kicked my butt. On Thursday at kettlebell, my 15 lb weight kept hitting me in the wrist which resulted in a massive bruise. And then last night in the first half hour out of a three hour cheer practice, I took a hit to my cheekbone when I fell out of a stunt. As per usual, I just kept going like nothing happened.  Half an hour later, my cheek was swollen and changing colours.

Thankfully for make-up, I was able to cover it up today. Although, every time a package arrived at my desk I would get strange looks from the delivery men and I kept thinking why everyone was looking at me funny. Well, my bad ass bruise would do it.

Last week I was extremely proud of my fast pace coming back. My favourite run of the week:
October 10th: 3.43 miles with a pace of 8:57 per mile.
