This is quite the opposite post from last weeks TURRIBLE workout. I dominated my run last night. My stretching, tens machine, and burpees must be helping my poor tendons. Here are last night’s stats:
4.48 miles with an average pace of 9:02/mile. Please cue Alicia Keys “Girl On Fire” here. This run was one of those runs where you feel like nothing can slow down your pace and you are just ready to run.
The crisp air, people taking pictures of the changing leaves (which I’m pretty sure someone took a picture of me running through the beautiful multi-colour trees. Your welcome amateur photographer, I would like a copy of that!) and everyone out for autumn walks. What still is never pleasant is the public displays of affection that people have for one another. And I’m not talking cute hand holding movie moments. I mean the, “I’m straddling my boyfriend on this bench and I don’t care what anyone thinks.” Seriously people? Not necessary. Although I’m not going to lie, those people make me run faster. So, thank you.
My playlists also make me run faster. Here was last night’s PR Playlist:
