Throughout June I have decided to continue training hard and being laid back since way back. I know, how do the two go hand in hand? Well, I think I have been working so hard on my fitness goals that I need to remember to stop, relax, and let loose. Like going to my bff Jess’ Tight ‘n Bright Rooftop Birthday Party because if it ain’t BRIGHT it ain’t RIGHT:

There’s nothing like acting as if bright and tight clothing is normal in the heart of the city. And whenever I start to feel that life has become a routine, I turn to my good friend Ferris Bueller for advice:
Life does move fast and if you don’t stop and look around once in a while you could miss it. That’s why I decided to go switch it up in June. There’s nothing better than just deciding to relax and read a book, or go to a farewell dinner for your friend. Even if it is at a sushi restaurant and you don’t eat sushi. Which, I am sorry to say I don’t like sushi. I have tried it on three different occasions and I am just not a sushi girl and I thought for sure I would be. Give me mussels, lobster, haddock, cod, tuna, crab, and salmon and I will eat it all. Give me sushi or shrimp and I just can’t do it.
The last few weeks have been hard because my little Gus has disappeared. For those of you who don’t know Gus, he has been my outdoor cat for the last 18 years. And one night he went out and just didn’t come home. Which is completely out of the ordinary for him. After calling animal shelters, talking to the neighbours, going for walks to find him, and looking out for him on every run I go on- we still haven’t been able to track him down. The problem is, he is the friendliest cat in the world. I’m not just being bias either. Cat haters love Gus. If someone on the street thought he was a stray he would befriend them and I’m afraid they would take him home.

I’m still hopeful that he will come home and snuggle with me again. Cats have been known to go on vacas.
So for June, I still have my fierce goals:
I like to wake up every morning and dance to this song. And may have just danced to it in my office as someone walked by and smiled at me. Whoops!
Happy Wednesday Friends!
