ARBONNE: Pure, Safe, Beneficial

I met up with my beauty of a friend Rhos for some lunch at Fresh and she brought me some samples of ARBONNE products to take the Arbonne 5 day challenge! Of course I was super excited like always to give my new products a try! Especially when the celebrities at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards were given these products to try and Halle Berry’s flawless skin uses the same products! (Does that woman even have pores?!)

With my skin background, I am more and more aware that what I put onto my body is just as important as what I put into it. So, I was super keen to hear The Arbonne Promise: To deliver pure, safe and beneficial products in line with our botanical tradition.

Arbonne products are made with strawberry cell extracts to make them smell yummy which means, no artificial fruits here!

PURE:

Arbonne personal care products are formulated without:
• Animal products or animal by-products
• Formaldehyde donating preservatives
• Petroleum based ingredients
• Benzene
• Mineral Oil
• Petrolatum
• Phthalates
• Toluene
• PABA

Arbonne Healthy Living products are formulated without:
•Artificial colours
• Artificial flavours
• Artificial sweeteners
• Animal products or animal by-products
• Cholesterol
• Saturated fats
• Trans fats

SAFE:

Arbonne’s swiss formulated products are safety tested at the Arbonne Institute of Research and Development (AIRD) in Switzerland by scientists around the world. These safety tests include irritancy and allergy testing for all products, ophthalmology testing for eye products, dermatologist testing for all beauty products, and additional pediatrician testing for baby products.

Arbonne bans using hundreds of hazardous ingredients that are found in most beauty products on the shelves. It boggles my mind the amount of ingredients that are banned in Switzerland but are acceptable in North America. It seriously makes you think about the minerals and vitamins that you can put into your body via lotion!

BENEFICIAL:

Arbonne offers products that are guaranteed to get results. They have an anti-aging line, anti-scarring lotion, before sun, and many more products to ensure premium quality in their beauty, health, and wellness products.

Thanks to Rhos, I got to try out the Invigorating Body Cleanser, Nourishing Daily Shampoo, Nourishing Daily Conditioner, Hydrating Cleanser + Freshener, Nurturing Day Lotion with SPF 20 and the Moisturizing Night Creme.  It was a whole botanical treatment!

It felt so lovely to to know that I wasn’t putting on chemicals that could potentially harm the biggest organ us humans have: our skin.

The moisturizers left my skin feeling soft for hours after applying a small amount. And the delicious strawberry smell? You better believe it lingered like a summer breeze! After washing my hair once with shampoo and conditioner, I was receiving compliments on my shiny and healthy hair. And not only was it shiny and healthy but it felt soft too!

After testing out these products I just wanted to try more. Rhos being as wonderful as she is, let me test out some other products including the Figure 8 Daily Detox Tea that assists the liver, blood, and most importantly for me- the kidneys by detoxifying your system.

The tea was so delicious that I could have had a bottomless mug but I couldn’t be greedy. So, instead I got my hands exfoliated with an Arbonne scrub. Then made everyone I came across feel my silky smooth hands.
With summer approaching I think I’m going to have to try out some of the before sun products!
