On Wednesday, I went to my first cheerleading practice of season 9. The funny thing is, everyone wants to know how much of a break I get between each season. Well, not very much. Once I got back from Worlds on May 5th, we didn’t have any more team practices so I went in for “open gyms.” This is when the gym is open to all athletes and you get to stunt, tumble, jump, or condition. As I said before, I’m on the International Open All-Girl Level 6 Zodiac team. What is the zodiac? Every team in our gym is named after the solar system. We have stratosphere, cosmos, mini dippers, etc. This way it is easier to distinguish what all the teams are instead of saying I’m on “level 4.” So naturally, our team made ourselves a theme song skip to 1:07 to hear it:
